He is no more with us. His research and contribution towards conservation of ecology, his relentless efforts to save Wetlands, his contribution to make East Kolkata Wetlands internationally recognized Ramsar site, his involvement with environmental activism, his association with marginal people and commitment to save their livelihoods are all now matters of discourse in many corners.
A condolence meeting will be held on 10th March 2018 at Lion’s Club, Deshpriyo Park (Western gate adjacent to Sarat Bose Road). The meeting will start sharp at 4 PM. Please arrive in time.
